Comments from Kingsport Development Services Director Lynn Tully recognized the support of elected officials, combined efforts of several city departments, and praised Planning Department staff for community enhancing work. A walking tour downtown featured the new parklet located at Broad Street and Main Street, as well as, several on street demonstrations of how planning impacts policy and infrastructure resulting in vibrant place making with functional and healthy elements.
